Gorgeous Cosmetics

Hey guys!!

I'm back today with a brand that I tried for the very first time!  I figured the best way to test out Gorgeous Cosmetics was to dive right in and create a full face look using only this brand.  It was so much fun and a bit of a challenge to stick to just one brand! However, I have officially found some new favorites and I'm excited to share them with you!

Gorgeous Cosmetics is an Australian based brand however; they ship world wide from their website! yay!  They are a cruelty-free brand and are not animal tested.  (p.s. you can click on the photos to check out the products!)

Let's start off with the packaging! I'm so. in. love. with the matte black packaging! It's gorgeous! Of course, it's going to show fingerprints ect. but there's just something about sleek black matte packaging that makes products feel very luxurious.

You can see the products in action and how I created this gorgeous natural look by clicking on this video!

Let's start off with my absolute favorite new product! The blush. It adds the perfect subtle hint of color to the cheeks for the perfect flushed look.  This is exactly what a matte blush should be, super buttery and easily built up.  If there was one thing from this line that I'd say go get immediately, this is it!

Next favorite product, the foundation.  It's such a perfect lightweight formula. It can be worn for a super natural look with one layer and built up to a full coverage finish.  I also love that it comes with a pump. Major bonus points! When you pump the product out it almost has a whipped texture to it.  Then, when you blend it into the skin it creates the most perfect flawless finish. It really feels like there is nothing on your face which is something I'm always looking for.  I recommend using a beauty blender to create the most natural finish.  I haven't used my Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation since testing this out; that's saying A LOT because you know I haven't been able to put that down.

I decided to include a swatch of this concealer so you could see the consistency.  It's thick and a little goes a long way! That's always a good thing because it means it'll last longer! yay!  It's not the most full coverage concealer but it does a beautiful job creating a gorgeous highlight to the face while providing medium coverage.

The Colour Pro Eyeshadow in Smudge is in my top 3 favorites!  If you are as obsessed with cool toned browns as me then, this is a collection must.  I still can't get over how easy it is to blend these shadows.  I'm not a makeup pro; I just love to play with makeup and out of all the shadows I've tried, this is one of the easiest to work with.  It's officially my new go-to transition shade.

The Colour Pro Eyeshadow in Apricot is a beautiful too.  It's a really buttery shimmer shadow that adds a gorgeous subtle hint of color to the lids.

Bronzer in 01-ES $36

Honestly, when I first saw this bronzer I thought it was going to be WAY too dark for me! It is also very warm toned which I'm not used to! I tend to lean toward cool-toned bronzers.  However, after applying the first time I loved the formula! It's incredibly easy to bronze up the face with; it doesn't look powdery and is very easy to blend. It adds a subtle hint of bronze to the face when applied with a fluffy bronzing brush; however, I think this would look gorgeous as an eyeshadow in the crease!  I can't believe I'm saying this but I've used it a few times now and I'm really starting to love this bronzer.  I never thought I'd enjoy a warm toned one but it's definitely growing on me!

The brown pencil and the mascara are both good products.  I absolutely LOVE the color of the brow pencil; it matches my brows better than any I've tried.  I do wish there was a spooly on the end , but I can live without it when the product matches this perfectly! haha

I love the wand on this mascara because it's so easy to build volume by getting to the base of the lashes.  I also didn't have any problems with it flaking off or running throughout the day.  I honestly don't get that excited about mascara because there are so many great ones out on the market.  I typically rotate between a few different ones and this one has joined in the rotation lol.

The highlight is good; but, not crazy good. Again, the formula is incredible; it's so smooth and buttery.  However, I'm super pink/red in the face and I prefer to use white based highlights so that it doesn't enhance my redness.  This one creates a beautiful natural highlight; I'd just prefer a different undertone.

I'm so excited to have found a new brand that I love.  I'm really looking forward to trying more products from them because so many of these were hits! Yay! New brand finds are the best! If you have any recommendations for products from Gorgeous Cosmetics that I should try out next let me know by leaving a comment below!
